A compact 15-seat teppan counter on the 4th floor of Shintenchi Plaza, in the heart of Hiroshima's okonomiyaki district. The walls are covered with autographs from decades of well-known visitors, and the chef, who originally trained as a Chinese cuisine cook before switching to okonomiyaki, has built a loyal following for generously topped, Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. Beyond the classic okonomiyaki, the menu stretches into teppanyaki cuts, stir-fries, and other a la carte dishes, making it equally suited to a full okonomiyaki meal or a casual izakaya-style night of grazing and drinks.
