Housed inside "Ise-kyu," a former inn designated a Nagoya cultural property, this café is run by the team behind the famous Atsuta Horaiken eel restaurant nearby. The interior keeps its Taisho-era retro character, with Noritake tableware and Laguiole cutlery, while the courtyard is designed to evoke the old Tokaido road (Atsuta Shrine, the Miya-no-watashi ferry crossing, and the Suzuka mountains). The signature dish is fry bread, a Native American-style flatbread served in sweet and savory versions with various toppings, alongside a namesake custard pudding and coffee. On Tuesday and Saturday evenings the same space turns into "bar nest." The upper floor hosts a separate reservation-only Japanese restaurant, "Oryori Ise-kyu Hokairo."
