Blue Seal Parlor Mizuhara is a small, retro walk-up ice cream stall tucked inside Naha's covered Makishi public market arcade (Ichiba Hondori), just off Kokusai-dori. Vintage hand-painted signage, a glass-front freezer counter, and a couple of streetside stools give it the old-school, nostalgic feel typical of Okinawa's beloved Blue Seal ice cream brand. The counter rotates through dozens of Okinawan and classic flavors — salty milk, purple sweet potato (beni-imo), shikuwasa sherbet, brown sugar and more — served in cups, cones or soft serve, alongside shaved ice and cold drinks. It's a quick, casual scoop stop while browsing the market stalls.
