Located on the 2nd floor of the Manzamo Area Revitalization Facility with panoramic ocean views, Ganso Sea Grapes offers a bright, spacious dining room where guests can enjoy their meal while gazing out at the Okinawan coast. Founded in 1994 in Onna Village, this is the original birthplace of the sea grape rice bowl (umi budou don), a dish that has since become an iconic Okinawa specialty. The signature sea grapes don features a generous heap of locally farmed sea grapes prized for their distinctive popping texture, served atop seasoned rice with accompaniments like uni, ikura, and tororo. Beyond the namesake bowl the menu covers a wide range of Okinawan comfort food including soki soba, champuru stir-fries, fresh sashimi, and butter-grilled local fish, making it a convenient one-stop lunch destination after visiting nearby Manzamo cliff.
