A compact and stylish craft beer taproom tucked inside the historic Tsuboya pottery district of Naha. The interior features vibrant blue walls adorned with colorful Okinawan yachimun-style tiles, a wooden counter with six seats, and a handful of tables seating six more, creating an intimate atmosphere where you can watch the brewing equipment behind the bar. MAHOWBREW obtained its brewing license in June 2024 and produces an inventive rotating lineup of craft beers inspired by Norse mythology and literary references, including IPAs, imperial goses infused with tropical Okinawan fruits, and barrel-aged stouts. The taproom also serves light food to pair with the beers. It is an ideal spot for craft beer enthusiasts looking to experience Okinawa's emerging microbrewery scene in a laid-back, artsy neighborhood setting.
