A serene Ryukyu cuisine restaurant housed in a beautifully restored 70-year-old kominka (traditional Okinawan house) that was originally built as Okinawa's first radio station after WWII. Located on Yachimun Street (pottery street) in the Tsuboya district of Naha, the dining rooms offer views of the Important Cultural Property Arakaki Residence and the historic Agari-nu-Kama kiln. The interior features dark wooden beams, low tables, and open windows framing lush tropical greenery, creating a calm and refined atmosphere. The head chef serves traditional Okinawan dishes with a modern twist, using locally sourced organic ingredients and additive-free seasonings. Signature set meals include the Nuchigafu Gozen featuring goya champuru, soki, and rafute, as well as fresh sashimi platters and Okinawa soba sets. The restaurant also offers Bukubuku tea, a rare traditional Ryukyuan frothy tea. Note: children under 12 are not admitted.
