A small, intimate science-themed bar hosted inside Gallery Kitchen KIWI, a bright Nihonbashi event space centered on a large open kitchen ringed by Scandinavian-style tables that seat roughly 10–20 guests. The vibe is part salon, part casual izakaya — guests pull up to the counter for talks, demonstrations and even hands-on dissections led by working scientists, paired with seasonal food and drinks. Run by Kiwi Lab Inc. (publisher Yasuhide Hatakeyama) since 2011, the program runs themed evenings on marine life, plants, fruit, parasites, rocks and subculture, drawing a curious adult crowd. Sessions are ticketed events on selected dates rather than a walk-in bar, so check the schedule and reserve in advance.
