A tranquil tea house inside the Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba open-air village museum — a restored thatched-roof hamlet on the western shore of Lake Saiko, beneath the slopes of Mount Fuji. Guests rest on tatami or at garden terrace tables surrounded by traditional farmhouses rebuilt after the village was destroyed by a 1966 typhoon. The menu is seasonal and sweets-focused: photogenic piglet pudding, shaved ice shaped as a polar bear, and chewy rice dumplings (dango) served with house-made matcha. Light savory options like curry are sometimes available. A natural stop mid-way through exploring the village grounds.
