Snack-and-souvenir kiosk inside the Mt. Tsukuba cable car summit station, run by Tsukuba Sightseeing Railway. Bright banner-style menu boards line the back wall above a simple counter; hikers and day-trippers grab a quick warm-up of motsu stew, oden or tonjiru, the shop's signature Kofuku Dango grilled rice skewers with walnut-miso, and one of the soft-cream cones that the line is famous for. The seating is informal — bench-style space beside the ticket gate — and the shop runs the longest summit hours, opening with the first cable car of the day.
