King Kebab is a small, lively Bengali and South Asian kebab shop tucked at the Oshiage intersection, 30 seconds from Oshiage Station's B2 exit. Opened in June 2023, it is run by a chef with 18 years of Japanese restaurant experience (including a well-known Indian restaurant in Tokyo) alongside Bangladeshi-origin staff. The menu blends classic Turkish-style döner kebab sandwiches — assembled with seasoned chicken or beef rotating on a vertical spit — with deeply authentic Bengali dishes: chicken biryani sets on saffron rice, shami kebab (ground meat Bengali patties), shingara (Bengali samosas), paratha flatbread, and spicy curry rice. About 40 South Asian spices go into the seasonings. The shop is fully halal and serves no alcohol, making it one of the few halal-certified casual eateries near Tokyo Skytree. Kebab rolls, rice boxes, and biryani sets are all available for takeout. Open daily until 1 AM — a rare late-night option in the area.
