A warm, relaxed dining room near Kinshicho Station with tatami-style sunken kotatsu seating and traditional table seats — ideal for a convivial group or intimate dinner focused on the finest fugu. Opened in 2005 as part of the Torafugutei national chain, the Kinshicho location keeps a live tank on the premises where certified fugu chefs dispatch and prepare each tiger puffer fish to order. Signature dishes include paper-thin tessa sashimi dressed with house-made Tokushima sudachi ponzu, the lively tetchiri hot-pot whose fish still quivers as it arrives, charcoal-grilled fugu, crispy karaage, collagen-rich fugu skin salad, and the house-specialty fugu-meshi rice. Fin sake (hirezake) is a specialty beverage made with the restaurant's own char-roasted fugu fins.
