A small, old-fashioned okonomiyaki counter tucked in the backstreets near Sawara Station, with a lived-in, nostalgic feel that recalls Japan's Showa era. Orders are cooked to order right on the iron griddle, often by the shop's longtime elderly proprietress, giving the space a warm, home-style, unhurried atmosphere. The menu keeps things simple and classic: okonomiyaki and yakisoba with vegetable, shrimp, squid, or meat-mix fillings, finished with sauce and mayonnaise. In summer the shop also serves shaved ice (kakigori).
