Himawari is a cozy specialty coffee shop set inside a renovated traditional townhouse within Sawara's historic preserved merchant district, with a warm wood-beamed interior, counter and bar-style seating, and large windows overlooking the old canal-side street. Coffee is the centerpiece here, poured into an oversized mug or a wine glass and billed on the menu as brewed with "the world's oldest" method. Opened in April 2023, the cafe also serves a wide range of organic hot and iced teas, herbal infusions, and chocolate drinks.
