Lemon-ya

A basement Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki restaurant that has been a fixture of the Shinbashi backstreets for more than 30 years. The dining room mixes counter and tatami seating with an easygoing izakaya feel, letting guests eat and drink together while dishes are grilled to order on the teppan. The kitchen sticks to an old-fashioned recipe using carefully selected Hiroshima-grown and other domestic ingredients, unchanged over the decades. Beyond the signature layered okonomiyaki, the menu extends into teppanyaki and a la carte dishes, backed by a selection of Hiroshima sake.
