Umi no Daruma Uoshin Shinbashi is a stylish, calm izakaya with generously spaced seating and private booths suited for dates, business dinners, and large parties, with rooms accommodating anywhere from two guests up to a full 90-person buyout. Opened in October 2025 as the newest branch of the popular Umi no Daruma Uoshin group (with sister locations in Ginza, Hibiya and Yurakucho), the restaurant built its reputation on bluefin tuna delivered fresh from the market. The signature dish is the towering "Daruma Mountain," piled high with tuna, sea urchin, salmon roe and caviar, alongside otoro, chutoro and akami served in numerous cuts, plus grilled and hot-pot tuna preparations. The drink menu leans into sake, shochu, wine and cocktails to match the seafood-forward menu. English- and Chinese-speaking staff are on hand, making it an easy stop for international diners near Shinbashi Station.
