Koshin An is a family-run noodle restaurant near Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, tucked into a calm, spacious 22-seat dining room. Originally a soba shop founded in Meiji 40 (1907), the fourth-generation owners converted entirely to Sanuki-style udon in 2022 after a family member developed a soba allergy — an unusual pivot for a century-old noodle house. The dough is kneaded and rested repeatedly to build a firm, chewy texture, served in tempura udon, duck nanban, and seasonal dishes like cold sudachi-citrus udon. It's a relaxed, easygoing spot that welcomes parents, grandparents, and young children alike.
